Started out striper fishing in the am with no joy. Just some smaller fish and a 20lb cat. Went crappie fishing and found the fish on a laydown in 3-5fow.
Back to striper fishing and they finally turned on. Had 11 fish on 6 rods, then several doubles. A handful by yourself with a little wind.
Most fish were in that 18-20.5 inch range. Had enough once the jet skiers and pontoons felt the need to come along side of me on several occasions.
Time to fill the freezer while we still can!
