I know this is a crappie fishing community but also much more than that. Considering the circumstances of quarantine, extra time on hands, change of lifestyle, etc. I thought maybe I would share some scripture and then hopefully others will too. Maybe this turns into a revolving “devotion” of sorts. No matter I just want to lay what’s on my heart.
Lamentations 3:22-23 the writer Jeremiah says “It is of Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning. Great is thy faithfulness.
This was written DIRECTLY after Jeremiah experienced his entire life turned upside down. He lost his homeland, his family, everything at the hands of wicked destruction and enemies. He not only trusted the Lord through the bad he knew that the Lord allowed it. Never let us think God Almighty is not in control. God does not partake in evil but he absolutely is over all the affairs of men as scripture states. Jeremiah knew this. He gave glory to God in the midst of pure destruction. Coronavirus is nothing compared to what believers worldwide have seen ages past even today in other places. Let us not question God’s sovereignty ever. Let’s worship him for being in total utter control. Let’s thank him for Jesus Christ. For the salvation given so freely by those who are willing to repent and believe. Amen.

Good deal, we’re having to meet in the parking lot for church now, spaced out with most staying in there cars, crazy how we can take the simplest things for granted

Our church live streams in 5 different countries and all 52 states , we are blessed to have the means to do this. Two weeks ago we came up with drive in church for all our Sunday morning services and bojangles has donated free sausage biscuits and ham biscuits for the first 200 cars. This has went over very well with only the preacher and our praise band outside on a platform that was built for our services. A radio station out of Charlotte comes to our church so everybody can tune in to the station in the parking lot so everybody can here the music and the preaching without getting out of there cars. People honk there horns when they would normally say " Amen " this has went over very well with well over 300 cars each Sunday so far. If you get a chance you can go to our Facebook page or our web site.
Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me
Anthony Grove Baptist Church , in Crouse NC 28033 , hope you will tune in
