    Default First trip this year

Finally got to go fishing yesterday for the first time this year and after my fourth back surgery. Only fished for four hours until my back said I had enough. Man it felt so good to fill that pull on them slabs.
Here are a few pictures from yesterday , only kept a few for a fish fry for my mom and dad tomorrow night. Oh by the way brought home a 6 lb striper I caught on 6 lb test line and had 3 to take all the line off of three of my reels , it was fun while it lasted. The big fish was 2.55 and 2 more over 2 lbs and had several over 1 1/2 to 1.97 not bad for the first trip of the year

Nice looking fish jig. Tillery had stripers mixed in as well. We caught two. Thought I had a world record crappie. Lol

Hey, those wet towels will help in the weigh in on tournament days ! Mighty fine catch you got on your first trip. Hope you get in some more good days Randy.

Outstanding to hear you a easing your way back into it... but still makin' such a great showing.
Be careful not to get ahead of your healing... I know it can be hard to stay on the right pace.
