Nice work.
Put the hammer on them this morning. Didnt have the first fish until 830am...trailered by 1230. One of the best big fish bites ive ever had. 30+ fish caught, only 1 under 18 inches. All on the troll with artificial Striper Sniper sassy shad, and my a-rigs.
5 were 24+ inches. Even i had to pose with our days work.

Nice work.
Pete, there's no doubt... you've been workin' on the striped bass for as long as I can remember. I just may have to sign up for a bucket list trip with you one of these winters. I'm sure it would be a blast and I would love to learn a little more about catchin some striped bass for whenever they make their comeback on Jordan Lake. Well done and thanks for sharing.

Very impressive, Pete. Have you had any success on the hickory stripers this year?

Nice Job. I will be out there tomorrow morning for a couple hours. Hopefully we can pull a few lines tight before lunchtime.

Thanks for the kind words! You are absolutely correct!
The guy i fished with yesterday was shooting video (to be released in the coming days) and i was asked why do i guide for striper and not crappie. why do i prefer to fish for them over the other? had to think about it for a second and well the answer was pretty easy but yet complexed.....Each person enjoys one type of fishing over the other....some crappie, some catfish, ect ect. Something about the pull on the line, getting 5 on at one time....covering water ect ect that just keeps me interested in it. Ive fine tuned my method over the years. One thing is for sure. each day is different with the striper fisheries. one day its on fire, the next day its shutmouth.....some days they fire off on sunny days, some days not....one lake this works, another lake you have to make a slight change for something else to work. Its an ongiong cycle. One thing is for sure; people need to put time on the water and try things out and find out what works for THEM!
be glad to host ya one day!!
