This is getting to be funny....NOT!!! While pouring the oil back into the engine my hose popped out and dumped a lot of oil inside the lower cowling, hardly any room to get your hand in there to wipe it up so the Cowel has to come off.
I learned that there are two drains in the bottom of the Cowel, both were plugged with leaf parts and oil, took those apart cleaned reinstalled. 409'd all oily parts, washed down.
Now since the thing is apart I'll wax the Cowel in the shade, then finish filling the engine. Still need to reinstall the lower unit that's still sitting in my vise.
I'll change out the Summer air in the tires for Winter air tonight once it cools down. I should be at the lake burning some gas
Summer air? Winter air? Never heard about that one
OK< what did you catch? So I know what I was missing while slaving away on the out board
Dont forget the blinker fluid in the trailer lights Grady. Think K-Mart has it on sale.

They out of it in the New Port Wal-Mart. Also, summer tire air is marked down to a dollar two forty nine a can! It is near the battery section on bottom shelf.
Did you guys end up catching a bunch on Saturday?
