Nice. So they really can live in a pond.
My nephew was visiting from out of state and wanted to put him and his 2 young sons on some fish so I contacted Capt Mitchell Blake, Fish IBX, regarding taking a trip on a pond full of hybrid striped bass. The boys backed out on getting up early but Josh and I caught a hundred or more hybrids averaging around 2 lbs. It's a great place to take kids or old folks that don't get around so well.

They are in this one at least. SUpplemental food is provided but is probably needed based on the number in the pond.
Do you start with fingerlings or stock what you catch? I live on a 8 acre pond which reaches about 16 feet deep on one end.
It would be great to have some of these in the pond for the grand kids to catch.

It's not my pond so I don't know how they do it there. I'd contact a pond management specialist to ask that sort of question. What part of the state do you live in?

Foster Lake and Pond Management have been working in NC for years. Solitude Lake Management is newer to the state but would be another possiblitiy.
