Thread: Kerr Lake

Looking at going to Kerr Lake next week for a few days. Have stayed at the Lake Motel a few times years ago. Wondering if this is still a good place or if someone knows a different one

It's still suitable for a nights rest. I've noticed that the cleanliness has gone downhill the last couple years though. It's still great for location and boat parking in well lighted area. I've stayed my last couple trips at the Magnuson across the road, behind McDonalds. It's a bit newer and I've found it to be a bit cleaner. It has great parking for boats and hook ups as well. It's about 12 bucks a night more, the best I can remember. I'd call and make reservations either place though, it gets pretty crowded this time of the year.
