    Hey yall just started getting into crappie fishing here in raleigh and dont have a boat. Any suggestions on descent places for catching some from the bank.?

    Several places on falls lake.
    Any of the bridges usually have cars parked around them.
    New light road bridge can be good.
    Beaver dam spillway can be good.
    You can hike along the water almost anywhere. The mountain to sea trail runs along a good amount of shoreline.
    Look for cars and hike in and look around.

    A huge crappie was caught a few years ago from the dam on Lake Lynn.

    skinny and malnourished plus with all the pollution on that lake wouldn’t even consider eating one
