Bait testing on lake hickory
Today I fished with the guy that runs Nclahuoutdoors. Great channel on youtube, check it out, he posts videos from fishing on lake hickory every week.
We tried regular red worms, and then louisiana swamp worms dyed chartreause with worm glo. Working the same school of perch from the same boat, the worm glo swamp worms outfished regular worms 3-1.
It was worth the 55mph ride across the lake in a bassboat with 19 degree temps.
Only downside will be cleaning all of these fish.
