Belews lake 12/30
Fished close to the house today, caught 14 crappie and probably as many spotted bass. Fish were hanging around the bait in 16-30 ft. Water. Caught them all long line trolling using double 1/16 rigs. Water temp was 54 degrees water clarity was slightly stained. It really didn’t seem to matter with the jig color. Here is a picture of one of the crappie. Turned all loose to play with another day as I had some waiting in fridge to fry when I came home.
