Thread: Falls Crappie?

I grew up very close to the Neuse River near Smithfield and my dad and I fished for cats. This was before Falls or Jordan or Harris. I have never fished Falls but looking at maps it looks like a lot of deep creeks and coves. Thinking of trying the crappie there. I have heard that they tend to run small. Is the quality of the crappie good size? Are there White Crappie? Are there White Bass? I'm sure there channel cats. Thanks. Just looking for a new adventure.

You will love Falls. The size of the crappie I have caught there is a wide range from small to large. Yes there is white bass and channel cats. Give it a try. You will like it.
