    Default Gaston 8/23/18

Caught 13 keepers and a few throw backs on Gaston today. White perch and one Rockfish mixed in with the crappie. Fish were schooled up in creek channels on rocks 24 feet. Gulp minnow out fished live minnows. It wasn't even close.

Good job, that can be a real tough lake to crappie fish.

My problem is finding good bottom structure or cover that attracts crappie. Most of the creek arms are just flat featureless bottom.
