The Village of Wake Forest is where the University first started. It's just north of Raleigh so I fish mainly Falls Lake, Jordan & Harris with the occasional trip abroad to Kerr.

Is that a good area that’s easily reached by kayak?

if i was restricted to a tiny boat or yak id check out all the city lakes, i grew up fishing out of a 12’ jon boat and the fishing can be spectacular, i miss that boat and the places i used to fish in it, made a ton of memories in that ol boat, times were simpler then too, a 3 lb crappie is a 3lb crappie doesnt matter if she came outta grenada or deepriver, or you caught her in a ranger or a ol tin leaky boat
