    A bit slow compared to the last couple weeks. Caught 25 crappie but it took longer than usual. Water temp was 85*, cooler than what I figured it would be.

    You did better than me. Took the wife and we fished 2 brush piles near the mouth of Panther Creek and only caught 7 crappie and 2 channel cats. Fished from 6am til 8:45am with some idling around searching for brush mixed in. We were on the trailer by 9:15. I was surprised at how many pleasure boats and jet skis get out early. Second creek near landing was churning like the ocean. Not mad at pleasure boaters, they just using the lake as I am but can't wait for Oct to get here. Enjoyed our trip and it still beats working...

    Good job turkeyfoot glad you caught some. I'm with you need2befishin , can't wait till October. Until then I just have to tolerate them cause I'm a crappie addict High Rock 6/23
