Monk was a very dear friend of mine and I will never forget him. Every time I put on a purple rain jig I will think about him. To the family I will be there Thursday eve and If there is anything I can do to help I will be more than happy to. Again, I'm really going to miss him. BILLY Michael / billyniten , crappie .com

Thanks Jordan Limit for sharing. Never met Monk but did talk to him on many occasions and you could tell the caliber of man that he was just from talking with him. Will be remembering the family at this time.

Wow, just talked to him a few weeks back. He told me his feet were in bad shape, but didn't realize he was that bad off. Good fellow, we lost a major contributor to the crappie fishing world.
