Oh no! So sad I enjoyed seeing him a the Raleigh fishing expo and stopped by his shop at his house a couple of times.
Pretty sure he's got a nice setup in Heaven pulling in some slabs, so in a way, it's a celebration for Monk.

Goodness, you just never know. Praying for the family.
Is this the same Monk that had the Monk's Crappie store? This is terrible news. Looked forward to his visits to our Sportsman Classic till he quit with the trailer. You couldn't walk in there without buying something. Super nice guy to know.
Mark 1:17 ...I will make you fishers of men
Rest in peace, Monk, with tight lines forever. I think I stopped by his table at the Fishing and Boat show at the fairgrounds a number of times in the past. Didn't see him this year. Ms. Catfish
