I fish MIL and Wylie on occasion , from shore. I have caught crappie on Wylie in Neal Branch , and a few from MIL. I work during the week in the afternoons , I'd be glad to accompany you , just let me know.

Wylie is bout to go wide open. Folks startin to catch em in shallower water. Minnows and long line. Check out the Spring Fling post on the board. Come on down and meet with some real good fishermen and ladies.

Thank you as well. Hopefully next time , they will have moved shallower. What part will you try next? There are a couple of parts south of the ramp that may be good.

This weather this weekend seems to have a crappie everywhere, it was tough this weekend, i only caught 7 today on wateree. Hi 30's this morning when i got out and warmed nicely. That with the rain yesterday didnt help water temps. Out of the little luck i had the best luck was mod depth staging areas in front of coves. Not all coves worked though. Hoping for warmer water next weekend. I had no luck shallow although some have to be there just didnt find them.

I used to fish LW and MIL alot when I had time and a boat. But not much time to fish right now with 2 jobs. But try drifting from the mouth of Nevins cover back to about 10 ft deep. Used to pick up alot of crappie and perch doing that along with alot of catfish. That is on MIL. Good luck and let us know how you do.
Once I get time I hope to start fishing again. But right now my 15 year old daughter comes first.
