BigEyeCrappieman Harris Lake Tournament on 3/10 Results-

It’s was very tough day to say the least . Water Temps had dropped drastically. The shallow fish which had filled our Livewells weeks before had vanished. No where to be found . Only those who chose to venture out into the deep haunts where we caught them in January caught fish . And how soon they made that decision determined their total weight . The Father and Son Team of Eddie and Scott Clifton made the right decision early and it gave them a victory on a day when the Big Eye Crappie were very Elusive. They also had the Big Fish of the day with a 2.165 lb monster . Great Catch guys ! And a great victory for the Cliftons. The BigEyeCrappieman and his partner Marc Francis The Pastor of Ridgecrest Baptist Church were Blessed to finish 3rd Place . So the prize winnings of 3rd Place were Freely given to JuneBug Evan Stack for his dedication to keep on Fishing without catching a Crappie. He won 3rd Prize by not doing it himself but by what some one else did for him . Like what Christ has done for us . In our Devotion we talked about the man Job . The Bible said he was blameless and feared God . But we read how Job faced a terrible storm in his life where he lost all his possessions, his children and many servants. We learn bad things happen to so called good people . We read where Job asked God why and how God responded. God reminded Job that He (God) created everything and that He is control . We read how that same God who came down wrapped in flesh named Jesus told His disciples to get in the boat with Him and to go to the other side . And How a storm came up that day. And as Jesus slept during the storm his disciples cried out to Him like Job saying or asking “Jesus don’t you even care if we die “ Jesus said “‘where is your Faith “ And because He(Jesus)is God and He created it all , He controls it. He said “ Winds be still and waves be calm, and they obeyed Him . So if we get in the boat with Jesus and He says let’s go to the other side you can be sure you will make it to the other side . Storms will come , but like Jesus you can be rest and assured you will reach your destination. No matter what happens even unto death you will be with Him Forever! You get in the boat with Jesus by accepting what He has done for you . Dying on the Cross for your sins . Taking upon himself Gods judgement for your sins . He was dead on the cross placed in a tomb and on the third day arose from the dead . Showing us , although we may die , if we believe in Him we shall live with Him forever in Heaven . For He has conquered death hell and the grave . Wow what a Great Day that is when we believe and trust in Him. Are you in the Boat with Jesus ! Are you ready to step in , you will never be the same .
