    Default Eno and Jordan Trip

Went to the Eno this morning. Water was too low to put in so went to Farrington.
Fished Bush, No Name and a few other creeks. Water temp was 47 in the main lake. Did find some 50-52 deg water in some isolated pockets, coves.

Ended up catching 1 10", missed a 14" in shallow water and 1 catfish. Saw two boats anchored in Bush, 1 boat under bridge at Farrington(achored). Water color was about normal but high.

First trip out this year. Wont be long before fish start moving shallow. A few already have.

    Tight lines.

I have to chuckle every time I read "No Name creek". How do you look it up on the map?

    Thanks for the report.

I would say the ENO water level is fine. I put in 2 weeks ago with no problems at all. If you had asked me 4 weeks ago I would have said no way. I hate you made the trip and did not try it. Water at the ramp rite now should be 4 or 6 ft deep if not more. If you tried to put in and thought you ran off the ramp then you were hitting what i call the concrete RR ties. They extended the ramp with these. They have huge gaps in between them. 1st time you hit one and not expecting it you would have thought you just hit the end. I had plenty of ramp left 2 weeks ago.

tried ENO today. I was able to catch few white bass, a lot of small crappies and even few bass. all white bass are under 14". The big girl was about 13" and I have to let it go. With new regulation, I don't believe there is a good chance to keep any of your catch.

Thanks Buzz. The sign post on the dock lines up with that first rr tie. That's what worried me. Wish they would move the sign post further down to indicate the actual end.
