Default Norman Hybrid bite is back

I left the dock at 7:15 today and the throttle cable came loose at the control at 7:30. Thanks to Long Island Marina I was up and running by 9:30. Got on fish at 10 and it was on. Caught 8 hybrids, all legal, 6 big perch and 2 spots. Had to leave them biting at 11:30. All fish caught on a-rigs. Sorry no pictures. It was a three ring circus could hardly get all 6 lines back in the water before another was on. All fish released to fight another day. I will be back at them tomorrow.

I saw you heading down the lake this AM as I was stuck on the dock charging my batteries. Not going into how they went dead. I was hoping you would come close enough for me to get a jump start. Had the cables ready.

I Talk to Jig Puller last night he was working North from 150, my plan was to search from Long Island South by the time I got done recharging the batteries I guess the bite had ended. I fished in Rocky Creek 45 degree out to main channel then Noth to State Park only caught 1 Spott from 1.30 to 4.30. Glad they have turned back on...I'm all set to get back after them tomorrow. Did you catch any big ones in that school?

I would have been glad to give you a jump. All the hybrids were over 16 with half of them 21-22 inches.

I was out there yesterday, the power plant seemed to be offline. The water was 49 degrees in the hot hole. Between that and the intense boat traffic yesterday afternoon, I think the fish had scattered.

Late posting up, but myself, reelsmoke, and madmax worked the lake pretty good and picked away at them. First thing saturday morning had a huge school come up with birds pounding the water. picked up about 6 or so right off the bat. Then the bass boaters came flying by and scattered the fish. after that it was one here and one there.

I did not have a official count, but ended the day with about 15 or so hybrids, 2 7-8lb striper, few perch and a few bass before hitting the road by about 1230ish. Only kept 1 hybrid and the perch for dinner and everything else was pardoned for another day.

No real size to the hybrids i caught. biggest one was about 19 inches.

Reelsmoke and Madmax i believe had pretty similar results
