Default Hello From Charlotte North Carolina

Hello From Charlotte North Carolina, Im new to fishing and looking for a fishing buddy. I used to crappie fish when I was younger with my father and would like to get back into it, I have no boat and would like to find someone the can take me out on the water.... if you fish Lake Wylie, Lake Norman or Catawba River in North Carolina and looking for someone to fish with let me know..

    Thanks,
    Travis Braswell

finally got my boat and a little nervous about launching and loading..if anyone is from Charlotte North Carolina and can teach me I would be glad to start fishing with you..it will cost you nothing just bring your fishing poles and maybe help with live bait if we are using it, just meet me at my house or wherever we're fishing..

Welcome, Hope you get into fishing with this crowd as a regular. Just take it slow with your boat. # 1 rule to remember is to put the plug in the boat. I know you'll be safe. I also know Grady will help you any way he can. Any questions just ask and someone will answer back. See you soon!

Good advice on rule #1. I launch a pontoon by myself and use a dock line tied off so it will catch when the boat slips into the water. It helps me quite a bit. I work in Charlotte so may be able to help you some too.
