Thread: Highrock Tourneys August 26

I did not know you guys were fishing this weekend until I talked to some guys at the ramp. It stayed cloudy and my hay was not dry enough to bale Saturday afternoon so I called a buddy and said it looks like a good night to go fishing and 10 minutes later we were on the road to High Rock. We fished for crappie on one side of the boat and catfish on the other. I got this 33 pounder and several more channels and caught 50+ crappie (27 that were 10+ inch keepers). It has been a very busy summer so this was the second fishing trip I have been able to make this year. Hopefully more to come. Hate I missed the outing though.

You need to watch the board more often. You did good without us!

Where are the results for Saturday night? I'm not going to say what ofish said to me about being scared to post them! Sorry! I did anyway didn't I

OK guys sorry so long to post but you know some of us guys have to work there Big Dawgg! We had a total of 8 teams on Saturday morning. We had a beautiful morning! we did not have any huge fish but a few nice fish. Winners for Saturday morning were Neil and Randy with a total weight of 6.125 and a big fish of 1.090. The Big fish went to the team of Ron and Todd with a big fish weight of 1.285. It was a good thing that Todd was there to catch that big fish!!!!

Saturday night we had 7 teams and some loud mouthy guys LOL. I had to have security (Mac Crappie) lay the rules down before i got there so we didnt have any issues. It was really great to finally meet all of the guys from SC and see everyone else again! All teams caught fish and caught some big numbers. It was the best night of night fishing that i have ever had and got to do it with one of my best friends. We caught 260 fish!!!!! everytime we put a rod down it was bent. The winners from Saturday night were Kurt and Charlie with a total weight of 5.390 and also took the big fish as well with a big fish weight of 1.320!!!

i had several ask about doing another one and we are working on it and hopefully we can get another night tournament together soon. I will keep everyone posted as we get everything set up. Again it was great to see everyone and great to put some faces with the names i always see. Hope to see everyone else soon!

Congratulations to the winners !. Glad we got to make the trip. And them guys wering those hats with that blue color on em were kinda loud and mouthy I thought. Thanks for the good time. Ready for next time.

Thanks Shane! My arm was twisted and I was threatened, I has to ask! I'm heading out the door now to work, so I know about some having to work. It's that John fellow you got to watch out for you never know when he is working or off. Congratulations to the winners and to everyone that went. It was a terrific time for me just getting out to go!. I'm ready again too! Just holler out, I may have a couple more that will make the trip!
