Default New to crappie on Jordan

Hello Ive been fishing most of my life on the river right here close to where I've grown up and i have fished Jordan lake with others and had success. I have tried it by myself and haven't had much luck. I don't want anyone's favorite fishing spot by no means but I would like to know what is a good depth to be searching for fish this time of year. I have a 16' boat with an antique 18hp tiller evinrude so I don't want to motor across the lake if I can help it. I have a few rods butt not trying to spider rig or anything. For electronics I have a lorance 4x dsi. My son is almost 3 and won't be too happy if I fish without him and his patients is typical that of a 3 yr old. My wife can keep him occupied for a while butt no fish and he just wants to ride around then. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!!!

I can help you out and put you on some nice crappie and white perch if you are interested in fishing Shearon Harris.

That sounds awesome! It's not much difference in distance for me

I would probably put in at Ferrington point and fish around the bridge there. Work different depths till you find them.
