I haven't heard anything in a while. However I think I heard that Duke was going to be shutting down that plant which means the water would be cooling off in the winter and the tilapia they were stocking the drum to eat would die on their own.
What is the latest on the proposed stocking of red drum at Hyco ?

Well if that pans out to be the case, yes the drum stocking was dependent on the tilapia. One would think the proposed closure of the coal fired plant would have been part of the plan. O well. If that happens the fishery at Hyco will under go some major changes IMHO . I really enjoy the winter fishery there because of the warm water discharge. Guess we will find out. FB
