What an awesome Day the Good Lord gave us Saturday! 22 teams out of the 24 Who Qualified for the Championship showed up to fish . Started off. Little light rain or sprinkle and turn into a mostly clear day with a South West Wind . I predicted about 8. 5 lbs would win. It was a great day !! We gave away lots of prizes donated by some Great Sponsors like Bass Pro Shops - Ridgecrest Outdoor Ministry- Newell Montgomery and Shane Walser - Hats and Plaques and Trophies were given out to winners . We shared on Saturday which was Easter Weekend about Jesus being our Substitute. Dying for us on the Cross . God had taught His people through out History about using a Lamb with out blemish and Sacrifice it on the Alter of the Temple to Forgive them of their Sins . Jesus was the Lamb of God . Perfect without blemish sacrificed for our sins. Taking our place on the Cross. But then on the Third Day !! Rising up from the grave conquering death and hell. And if we believe in Him as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead we will be saved. Even though we die . We shall live forever with Him !! Hallelujah!! It's been a great year . Take care and remember whose you are . God"s !! See ya !! Have a great summer !! See ya next year !! From The BigEyeCrappieman

Thanks Rod for all you do with putting on this tournament series. It seemed to me that more teams competed this year than in any other season and that the weights were better than I have ever seen them. We saw some really good numbers put up by the winning teams, but what impressed me more was the overall number of teams that had really good weights.

Several of us were talking after the awards ceremony and we were all what I would call the "average, local guys". Having the opportunity over the past few years to fish with some really good, experienced fishermen has helped us average guys pick up our weights. We are thankful for your testimony and witness, along with giving many of us the chance to learn how to catch more and bigger crappie. Hope everyone has a good summer and I'm sure we will see some of you on the water.

Yup. I fished within eyesight of the winners several times. Just need to tweak my approach for next year and I should be able "Break Through". Now.. Time to get ready for Summer!

Competing against the "A" teams brings up the weights for all in the competition.
Thanks for your dedicated work and the Team Beast will be back and better next season.

Yes this was a great year! As Hunter and Dennis said we all learn more each year and become better fisherman and fisherwomen! Rod thanks for all the time and effort that you put into these events. Also a huge thanks to Ridgecrest for all of the donations and having such a great group of people. It is great to fish with everyone and we have made some great friends fishing these events. Can't wait till next year! See everyone on the water! Maybe I can get a few night Tournaments together for the summer!
