    Default Jordan lake crappie

Alright guys I normally would not do this but I am determined to put my buddy on some crappie before he leaves for the sand box for a few months, I will be taking him to Jordan Lake which is where I have my most experience but these past two weeks have been slow. If anyone wouldn't mind sharing some knowledge with me on where I should take him and what to throw at them it would greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any and all your help.

Post-spawn can be a little difficult. There are a lot of us that are looking for where they have gone.

Been a tough spring this year for sure! Fished Jordan yesterday( long-line trolling) and caught 50-60 fish.Kept 19 with 5-6 a lb or better. Lots of short fish caught in shallow. Caught anywhere from 5-20' with largest fish being caught in a creek with NO-Name in 14-16' of water. The females we caught in deeper water were still full of eggs. Going back Friday(good Lord willing) and will target those same depths first. Hope this helps. Good luck.

It does very much and I will be prepping the long rods for Friday as well, we are trying to get him a fish fry before he leaves. And we can't do that a campfire with sole Irish whiskey will have to work. Haha

    Thanks again guys
