Default My Take on High Rock this past weekend.

2 Boats, 3 people fishing. Total hours fishing was around 15 hrs. combined on both boats. Lots of 1lb fish and hundreds at 8 to 10 inches. We had a pretty good productive weekend. Main channel you can plant corn in it and watch it grow. Most coves are stained and some right off the main channel is getting that orange mud color also. Found Crappie at the mouth of creeks and right on the bank in the evenings in 3 different coves. ("I LOVE MY SIDE IMAGING!!!!!!") Morning fishing was ok until the sun got high but you know we did have temps in the 30's at night. I caught very few off of docks maybe 20 to 30 and most were 9 to 10 inch crappie. Im not finding any fish were we have always fished. I think it is due to the rise in water at the pace it did rise, but what do I know I'm just a fat bearded redneck. We cleaned 211 good Crappie with only 9 having eggs. I did release a lot of fish that had eggs even if they were my keeping size. I just like to give back to myself and you as fisherman. Over all we caught 693 crappie in total by my clicker, give or take a few. On the way back now. Good luck!! The pics below is 1 of 4 food grade containers we filled with fillets. It is 36 by 24. The crappie by my foot was average size of fish caught and I have a 13 inch foot.

John Deere Green Triple Threat, Fire Tiger Curly Tail, and Parrot Curly Tail. My buddy caught quite a few on June Bug Curly Tail also.
