I caught one two weeks ago fishing for crappie at Farrington point. 19"
After the crappie spawn is all done I'm making it my goal to put a few Jordan stripers in the boat this April/May. Has anyone caught any over the past couple of years? I know they were wiped out in 2011 but they've also been re-stocking over the last few years. Gonna buy some leadcore line and trolled that whole lake until one gets in the boat.

New year day, I caught one 18" under 64 bridge with crappie jig. few small ones last fall in open area below 64 bridge. The biggest one I caught was 23" back to 2015 in S curve with bucktail jig.

I noticed they had a tournament coming up. That's a great sign they are starting to have tournaments again.
I caught one around 6 pounds on a white roadrunner bucktail in front of the ramps at Vista Point two years ago under a school of shad.

There is a good population of stripers in Jordan. Its been a quiet fishery the last year or so, but have been told 8lb fish are a regular occurance. 10-12lbers are not uncommon. Not many people targeting them.

If word gets out that a few are being caught then you'll see every boat on Jordan going after them. I just hope to enjoy catching a few but probably won't announce it.
