There is a ramp with reasonably deep access up the street from the KMP day use area , called Cove Boat Ramp. I think there are about 20 to 25 spaces , one way drive at the ramp. You could either walk down a trail to the pier/day use area , or post up in the shallow cove located to the left of the pier , viewed from the entrance. It is a nice area , the area where the ramp is located is about 10 to 25' deep if I'm not mistaken. The back of the creek is about 4' deep.

There is a nice ramp next to the Whipperwill Camp ground, a bunch of parking deep ramp, just not much parking for boats and the cove is pretty small. Right off Lake shore
