Headed out to try out the new Helix 5. Put in at New Hope. Looked like a lot of people over at Ebenezer ramp. Water temp was 48 degrees. Winds were calm until we got to the S turns and I grabbed my first minnow. Then the blow started. We marked tons of bait and, at times, lots of fish. But, my wife was the the only one to get bit and it pulled off. What few boats we saw didn't seem to catch much, either. At least we got out, though.

It's the weather. Hopefully everything calms down for next week!

Good to see you got out. I was out at Cane Creek Park yesterday got 11 the biggest 12" all over 9".Lots of bait slow bite all morning. By 12:30 the wind was too much to deal with
