    Default WACCAMAW PERCH 12/26

Now I know what a waccamaw perch is that people talk about. Biggest 1 was 14 1/4'' , 5 others about 13 1/2, kept 11 white perch , nothing under 13''. sure easier to fillet them big ones. also caught 3 crappie, only 1 over 10''. longlined 5 rods in 7.4 water, lots of fun , them big perch fight just like whie bass. and by the way, i ate my first mess of perch week ago. taste same as crappie to me. didnt have any scales so just a guess at about 1/1/2 lb big one.
