Default Kerr Lake boat ramp help

MNKK and myself decided that instead of going to work tomorrow we're going to drag the kayaks to Kerr lake and try to find some striped bass . I'm trying to figure out which boat ramps are wildlife (accessible 24/7).

I see that Satterwhite is closed on Mondays.
Nutbush I believe doesn't open till 8 (is this the case for all Army Core sites?).

Any information would be greatly appreciated, we're coming from the Raleigh area.

    Thanks in advance

Good luck, I believe they were expecting to close a decent number of ramps due to high water.

sporkd2, the lake level is 307.6 and climbing...that takes out several roads and ramps. I have always been able to get in Longwood, also Ivy Hill has a steep ramp. Hope this helps. Smiles, G

There is another one called island creek that you can use when the water is high

Fished longwood for a good 4 hours pulling minnows and various other things with no luck. Tried to get to grassy creek but the ramp was closed so we dropped our kayaks off on the bridge since it was a foot underwater. Fished the area to the west of the bridge with no luck either. Not even the panfish of any type would bite.

I don't think either of us are discouraged that we didn't get MNKK his first striper and my 3rd because we learned some new launches and will be back at it in no time.

Thanks for all the help everyone
