Default New to the NC Forum - Belews Lake resident

Hi folks. New to the NC board but not new to the forum here. Over the past 10 years I've lived in/posted in the VA forum, GA forum, MN forum, and just now moved down to NC. Wife & I picked up a nice place on lower Belews Lake and I'm anxious to start fishing for some crappie in it. Hoping to be able to provide lots of reports here

Appreciate it everyone. The former owners of our house left us a nice 20' pontoon boat and a dock slip....gotta learn how to crappie fish off a boat with couches on it

Welcome and i am not far from You. I am close to the gate to Hanging Rock State Park, but mostly fish Buggs, High Rock, Badin, and Tuckertown. Due to medical and Injuries i fish from a boat with a fence.

Welcome from Stokesdale. Belews can be a little tough for crappie fishing. The majority of the lake is very deep, clear, and hot water. A lot of the crappie fishing is done above the hwy 158 bridge where water conditions are more normal. Good luck.
