Neil, To me its awesome. The graphics are very nice really showing detail with chirp down vission, also has sonar, gps and, i got navionics + , there is also C maps but i like navionics because its shows more lakes and less ocean charts. You can choose and change what areas you have, but if you buy bigger mini-card you can download more to it.
the reason I got dragonfly was graphics and simplistic menu. Truly out of the box your fishing. there is one plug, power and transducer run into one plug. Raymarine has been ocean electronics for years, but the dragonfly was well designed as well ar remodeled after the first addition.. I spent very little extra in price to get the 7 instead of the 5,,, the screen is so much better on my eyes, and easier to see. I bought it on ebay with free shipping. The down side is they dont have side vision ,,,which i hope they do in a few years. overall I would give it a 9.99
