Default Anyone in the Kings Mtn area?

I will be up in Kings Mtn for about 6 months training for Duke Energ. I really want to bring my boat up with me so I can fish a little but I will be in a apartment and I'm not too sure about keeping it parked there. If anyone from the area knows of a safe place I can pay to keep it at please let me know. I rode down to Moss Lake and checked it out yesterday and it looks pretty nice. There should be a few in it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome to Duke! I have a friend who lives in Kings Mt. I'll hit him up.

Moss is a semi-private lake, you will have to have a Moss lake fishing license ($25 annual, $3/day I think) along with NC state (out of state for you) and a Moss lake boat permit ($50 annual or $10/day).....Wylie is considered the local lake and half of it is in SC...pm me if you want some info
I can only wish to be as good as my dog thinks I am

I fish moss year around, home lake, boat permit is $60.00 per year, fishing permit is $20.00 per year and you need NC fishing licence, Wylie would be cheaper and there are some good fish there too, I fish it a lot also.

I am aware of the fees required to fish Moss. $80 is well worth the money considering Moss lake is only 5 miles away from the training facility I will be at. Im still not sure I am going to be able to bring my boat up, I haven't found anywhere to keep it and for now I will be in a hotel. No way I am going to leave it in a hotel parking lot overnight so I hope I can figure something out within the next week.

Sorry T.C. I struck out with the friend from Kings Mtn. He will be working too much and away from home. Sounds like Mountaineer Marine might work out.
