Default Shore fish failure - Jordan March 19:Report*

Having been boatless for a while, I decided to see if I could both catch a few crappie from shore at Jordan and escape hearing how my Kentucky Wildcats were getting beaten this past Saturday. I cast mostly John Deere Kalins curlies and so I can at least share some sort of pic, here was the only fish I landed! Hopefully I can find some shallow from shore this week. I know this is a pretty lame post, but I didn't want to just troll and not pass on what little information I had, even I this pitiful. At least I got out for a while!

Life jackets can be uncomfortable, but much less so than drowning.

This time of year , you should try heading to Junaluska , the crappie and yellow perch move shallow and you can easily catch them as fast as you place a minnow on the hook.

Still not luck with finding shallow fish. Looks like from a couple other reports that they haven't moved back in yet. Spent an hour or two Tuesday and Wednesday in the Bells Ferry area with no luck. In that time I saw one fish pulled up from the pier even though there were a bunch of folks on it with poles out. Maybe today.
