Thats a lot of water, reminds me when I put by boat in , in the parking lot, back in the 90's, It was half way up in the parking lot and the game warden was there , trying to talk people out of putting in, but we went anyway. Young and dumb I guess.
Water level 12-26-15 228.60 rose almost another ft. from fri. All ramps are closed except Farrington Pt which is also unusable and flooded. Debri is all over the lake. I'm not one to judge but I don't think we will be able to fish this lake for awhile. On the other hand Sheran Harris is in very good shape except for the floating grass at times and we managed a few fish sat.I'm going to try to post a couple of pictures of FP.![]()

I remember the old boat ramps they had and with a high water level like this, they would float up over the poles and drift out across the lake. Those old U-brackets could bang a boat up good--glad they went to the new swivel style.
I'm guessing the ramp pic is Farrington?
Well, I drove to Belle's Church Pier Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was flooded badly, with the water going up the entrance road. The little bridge that connects the main part of the pier with the parking lot was under water, too. It even looked like part of the bridge that connects it to the main part of the pier was broken. I've seen the parking lot here under water before. This looks really bad. The powers that be had just reconnected the green pier lights and got the light at the far end of the pier just lit up again, so I guess it's gonna be a while before we can get back to winter crappie fishing at night time again. Flatfoot.
Heard from the Corps they are thinking at least 2 weeks before its back down to the guide curve which is between 216-217.
Stopped in at Farrington tonight on my way home from work. The water level is up to the speed bump at the end of the parking lot.
