FISH for LIFE
HUMANKIND......be both
Fished today 1:00-4:00. Caught around 20. All small. We caught all our fish in 10-15ft water fishing about 5ft deep. Jigs and minnows. We tried closer to the bottom and never got a bite. Everybody we talked to were having about the same luck.

Has anyone been back out? I want to go this weekend just trying to figure out which way to go.
I'm planning on going tomorrow. Have they moved into the Flat yet ??
Melanic, welcome to the board! I believe I went by you guys a couple times. I had the St. Bernard in the boat with me. Captain Harley I fished up in the Flat River Sunday afternoon from the birdhouse to the powelines and caught many small fish.
Slow up there today. Spent most of the day on the Neuse. Fished from the first power lines to Knapp of Reeds Creek. The small whites were everywhere and the crappie were hard to find. Going back next week when the temp drops.
Went for a little while on sunday and it was slow. I could see fish on the screen but very few takers on the jigs. Might try again with some minnows and see if that opens their mouths up.
