There is a city lake in Winston Salem called Salem Lake. One of the guys that runs the fishing station said today that they are catching a few nice ones off the pier. They also have boat access and boat rentals.

    Default crappie in winston salem

If you only want 5 good crappie to fillet I'd hold a sign up on the 66 business 40 exit ramp and look for the corkmasters coming back from an excursion. I believe they might have a couple. Lol. What you think Simpleman.

Well now we are guilty of giving away a fish or two once in a while, but like this person said, they are from Mississippi. A good fish to them is probably a whole lot larger than a good fish to us. By the way Newly, marked a lot of bait and fish trying out the new sonar down at the fall hole. If ya get a afternoon....I'm just saying.

You are so right about Mississippi. Check out these weights from Grenada crappie master weigh in today. Could you imagine llcallahan with that little shorty rod snatching those monsters when the cork went down. Haha

I will take you up on the fall hole for sure.
