God Demonstrated his love for us. Romans 5:8
we were fishing lake hickory few years back just going up the bank throwing jigs for crappie Rick cast his jig close to the bank a half grown duck saw the jig under the water and made a dive for it the hook went through the top of its bill and Rick was reeling him in when he got to the boat it made a hissing sound while Rick was tryin to unhook it and here came what we figured was its mama and she was ready to fight she was beating the side of the boat, Rick and the little duck with her wings and quack cussing us up a storm Rick said get this bi--h off me so I started to slapin her with the end of my pole well Rick got the little duck loose it went straight to the bank up in the grass and set down with the mama raisein h-ll at it all the way. That was the funniest thing I ever saw we still laugh about that mainly because Rick was using a roadrunner jig and they say that a roadrunner will catch anything on TV!!!!!
Fish don't care how much you spent on your boat!!
I was bass fishing in the Ohio River out of the back of my buddies boat. Still a rookie, I made an errant cast and sent my artificial worm ashore. It landed behind some bushes in a downed tree. I reeled up the slack and tried to pull the worm through the downed tree and in doing so, I realized something was pulling back. I told my buddy and he thought I was nuts so I had him pull gently pull and sure enough something on the other end was pulling back. We carefully followed the line through the bushes and into the dead tree and there it was, a water snake had my artificial wormin it's mouth and was trying to eat it. Needless to say, we let him have it!
This past summer i was in the back yard practicing dock shooting when a hawk grabbed my jig while it was in the air.Luckily he didn't get the hook.
