A small boat is great for Greenfield. There are some wall hangers in there. I wouldn't eat em, but I've relocated plenty out of greenfield. The little creeks that wind through the cypress trees close to the landing is a good spot to catch them shallow, but I'm pretty sure they've gone deep by now. Tightlining the open water near the paddle boat docks and right next to the paddle boat docks may produce a few, but honestly it's pretty late in the year. There are some nice yellow perch in there, too. In the fall, winter, and early spring it's a great catch and release pond. Lots of crappie in there and they don't get an awful lot of pressure. It's trolling motor only in there, so its always peaceful. I live in Leland. If you hit me up next fall I'll take you fishing with me in the Black River. I do pretty well in there, check out some of my posts.
