The BigEyeCrappieman Easter Tournament of Grace Event Results: The day started off with sprinkling rain and 73 degrees at 5am. The weather quickly changed to NW winds at 15 - 25 miles an hour and the temperature quickly dropped making for a very tough day of fishing. Lots of BigEyeCrappieman fishermen and Crappie.com fishermen showed up. The catching was a lot like last week although the order changed a little bit. First place was Jimmy Perry and Jeff Williford with 7 fish weighing 9.775 lbs, with a big fish of 2.090 lbs. Second place was the husband and wife team of upcoming Crappie Master Chad Meeks and his wife Jessica Meeks with 7 fish weighing 7.130 lbs. and a big fish of 1.115 lbs. Third place was the team of Chester and Aaron Eubanks along with Bruce Eubanks and Bob Arnao with 7 fish weighing 7.0550 lbs. and a big fish of 1.545 lbs. Fourth place was the team of Rachel Jones, Alan Cox, and Josh Hunt with 7 fish weighing 6.905 lbs with a big fish of 1.015 lbs. Fifth place was the team of Kenny Moody and Monty Justice with 7 fish weighing 6.560 lbs and a big fish of 1.280 lbs. And the big fish of the tournament was the 2.090 big fish of team Jimmy Perry and Jeff Williford. An awesome moment today was watching the team of Shane and Newley's daughters weigh their fish in! We prayed and thanked God for bringing everyone back safe in the high winds. We ate a great meal provided by lots of fishermen and prepared and served by Ridgecrest Outdoor Ministries. Some great prizes were given away for the places above and a general drawing. We shared a story about the greatest gift that has been given that God the Father loved the world so much He sent His only Son to die on the cross for us. We read scripture out of Isaiah 53 to remember the pain and suffering our Lord and Savior endured for us. We talked about how Jesus died for us but was raised to life so that we by accepting His gift of salvation will one day be raised to life too and live eternally with Him in heaven. We shared about the death of our fellow fisherman who drowned this past Wednesday at High Rock Lake, Mr. Bill Coleman and raised $412.00 for his family from these generous and loving fisherman from the Crappie.com and BigEyeCrappieman Series. Again we thank the guys and gals from Ridgecrest Outdoor Ministry for their servant hearts and sacrifice for their Lord Jesus and shortly we will post some pictures from the event today. It was great putting faces with all the names we see and know from Crappie.com. Take care, God bless and remember HE IS RISEN! HE IS RISEN INDEED!
Amen!!! Thanks again Rod!
