Default Bigeyecrapoieman Events- Jordan Lake 2/14 Tourny Results

    2/14/15 Jordan lake Results

It was a Cold windy day today! 9 teams braved the extreme wind chills in the am. Not as many fish were caught today as it was last Saturday.
A Boat Trailer was frozen to the Boat this morning . When Chad Meeks backed his boat in the water the boat and Trailer were floating. It was a close Battle today, but the team of Ervin Henderson and Dennis Reynolds won their first Tournament today. They have work harder than any team to get better and compete at every Event. Today the Lord Blessed them . They had 7 Fish weighing 7.265 Lbs and a Big fish of 1.230 Lbs 2nd place went to the team of Freddie Sinclair, Newell Montgomery and Jeremy Schmitt with 7 Fish weighing 6.780 lbs with a big fish of 1.210 lbs 3rd Place went to Jack Sandlin. From Burgaw NC. With 7 fish weighing 6.600 lbs with a big of 1.150 lbs. And the Big Fish today was caught by the team of Brad Aiken and Daniel Aiken it weighed 1.660 Lbs. They tore the Bigeyecrappieman up today. He was last seen licking his wounds . We shared a story in the Bible and prayed. Thanked God for the opportunity to enjoy his creation. And thanked Him for His Son Jesus. You guys keep a eye on Facebook and Crappie . Com about next Tourny with severe weather on the way . God Bless you and se ya soon. From the Bigeyecrappieman !

Charles and I have worked hard to find the deep crappie and it worked for us. I think all the fish we caught were between 26'-32'. We also know that 7 lb's will not win a tournament once the crappie go shallow, especially with the guys that are fishing these tournaments. One thing that helped us win is the knowledge we have gained from fishing these tournaments over the years. While waiting for everyone to weigh-in, I would walk around and look at what the other guys are using. I would look at their boat setup and what kind of rods/lures are they using. This is the way to learn and finally come in first place.

For you new guys, there may have only been nine teams last Saturday, but there were some of the best fishermen in this part of NC participating. Some of the guys, like Jack from Burgaw and Shane from Lexington, drive a good distance to fish the tournament. Come on out and join us for the next one.
