    Default Panfishin near new bern

Did some fishing today in a creek near new bern. Caught 1 yellow perch, several bluegill, 1 chain pickeral, and probably 15 crappie. Fun day of fishing. All the crappie were from a suspended school I found on the depth finder.

Bachelor creek. Water clarity was great. I don't do any panfishin in the main flow of the neuse. The Swift was still murkier than I prefer. A short creek that emptied into a brackish body of water clears up quicker than most other flows after a lot of rain.

I've fished the Swift a good bit. Only fished Batchelor's Creek a few times. Good job.
