Default Time for a new outboard

I've finally grown tired of working on my old outboard and have decided to pull the trigger on a new one. I'm looking for a 70 to 90 horsepower. Which outboards do you guys recommend?

Sorry to hear that! I guess the jet fuel done it in. I like Mercury, Honda and I would go four stroke fuel injected if I could. You turn the switch it fire up.

Take a look at the site named outboard exchange. They rebuild Merc and Evinrudes.

I've put over 5,000 hrs on two 4 stroke Yamahas, a 60 an 70hp. Change the oil an filter, put gas in them an you gonna really miss having to ever work on an outboard agin! ya turn the key an go fishin!

I run a Yamaha 4 stroke and have had zero problems thus far. I spoke to an abundance of folks before purchasing my boat and the recommendation's were across the board. It appears that the major manufacturer's are building a quality product, it boils down to personal preference and where the closest reputable service center is. Good luck!
