Thread: Tuning Humminbird 798HdSI

Here's is how i setup the sensitivity on the 200 khz and 83 khz freqs. I started by going to a calm area in aprox. 20 ft. of water, anchored off and then reset the unit back to factory defaults. I changed the setup to advanced, tied on a large bell sinker to my rod and dropped it down near the transducer. Adjusted the sensitivity until i could see it on both the freqs. I then changed it out with a 1/16 oz jig and did the same again. I feel like it is setup pretty close now. Watch out crappie!!!
