Thread: Sutton Lake?

Anybody in the ILM area fished Sutton this fall? I haven't been in years but last time I went there were crappie in the ditch. I saw Jack there as a matter of fact. I stopped by there yesterday thinking about trying it there instead of the river, but there were too many empty trailers in the lot. Didn't see any boats on the lake which means they were all in the ditch chasing green carp. If anyone's been or heard anything about the crappie in there this fall let me know. Thanks guys.

I have not fished it this fall. The power plant switched over to gas because of the "coal ash" problems. On gas they can control the boiler temp. much better. From what I hear all the fishing is different because the water coming out the ditch is not as hot.
