    Default Jon boat rivets

Has anyone ever replaced any jon boat rivets? I'm looking at solid aircraft rivets. It looks like they could be installed with a couple of hammers (one on each side). I only need to replace about a dozen. I'm taking out the bass boat type front deck and installing a lower one so that I'm sitting down in the boat instead of on top of the boat.

Personally, I prefer the closed end pop rivet and a little epoxy to fill the blind hole

I like this but use "liquid metal" type epoxy. Devcon is the brand I have used. Ruff the edges with sandpaper to give it a bonding surface
