Default Eno river or Haw river for white bass?

Sorry this is not crappie fishing but does anybody know if the white bass are running on these rivers yet or am I too late? This will be my first white bass fishing here in NC and was wondering if I should go to Eno or Haw river.

You may still find a few late bloomers in the Eno, but it's about over .......
You just gonna sit there an argue, or fish?

It's over by now . You are a little bit too late. Try again next year around mid March.

The white bass run is still pretty hot on the Eno and flat river. Friend of mine caught 22 on sat during the rain and another 17 on sunday. He was fishing the flat river. I rode over to the eno sat afternoon and the water was high and muddy. He said the flat was almost normal and clearer than the eno. I usually catch them till the last week in april. They were still catching them at Pennys Bend on Thursday. I have not fished in a week or so but I will have a 1st hand report in the next day or so.

I hit a spot on the Flat River about 6pm. I ended up catching 4 white bass. 2 good keepers and a few small perch. All on the jerk bait. all of the white bass had other fish following them all the way to the bank. Friend of mine went earlier in the day and caught 4 or 5 keepers and a bunch of small ones. Water is stained but not bad at all. I would say its about a ft higher than normal. I think we still have another good week or so. Don't give up yet..
