Could be some tough conditions for fishing.Lake is up 6 ft. since the rain almost 222.
Planning on fishing Jordan on Tuesday with Kayaks. I've fished up around Farrington Landing many years back and remember it being a decent spot for spring crappie. Does anyone know if that is still the case or of any other areas that would be good and are readily accessible by Kayak (don't want to have to paddle more than about one mile or traverse the main lake).
Thanks,
TW

As you leave the ramps at Farrington, Bush Creek is to your right and has been known for good crappie fishing.
Does anyone know if Seaforth is open yet? I remember it was supposed to be sometime in March. Thanks
It was open yesterday. I heard at the bass weigh in yesterday the lake was rising 1ft an hr. We fished deep to shallow. The water temp was as low as 41 in some spots and found some as high as 57 before the day was over. We only caught one fish all day.
Thanks. 1 foot an hour wow that's fast
Just saw where the lake level today was 223.30. Normal pool is 216, so over 7 feet high. Gonna make finding the fish interesting.
Tried yesterday. Wasn't fishing for crappie but I marked a ton of stuff between 16-21 feet down. I'd think it was suspended debris but there was nothing above or below it. Lots of floating debris.
Fished Norman today and only caught two 11" crappie about 25' deep on brush. Now have to decide where to fish tomorrow. Anybody fish Jordan today?
